Your Itinerary
Day 1
Istanbul Arrival
Welcome to Istanbul! We'll pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we'll provide suggestions for exploring and sight-seeing Istanbul.
Day 2
Ottoman & Byzantine Relics Tour / Istanbul
Start your day with a visit to the famous Hagia Sophia basilica, followed by a tour of the Blue Mosque. Explore the ancient Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar before enjoying lunch. After lunch, visit Topkapi Palace. Return to the hotel for overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3
Dolmabahce Palace, Asian Side, Golden Horn & Bosphorus Cruise Tour / Istanbul
Start the day with a visit to the Dolmabahce Palace, followed by a trip over the Intercontinental Bosphorus Bridge to Camlica Hill. Tour the Golden Horn and the City Walls of Istanbul, then take a cruise along the Bosphorus and enjoy lunch on the boat. Return to the hotel for overnight in Istanbul.
Day 4
Flight to Kayseri / Transfer to Cappadocia / North Cappadocia Tour – Cappadocia
After breakfast, transfer to Istanbul Airport for the early morning flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, transfer to Cappadocia and start your day with a gentle hike through orchards and unusual volcanic rock formations. Visit the old Christian Village of Cavusin, followed by a lunch break and an excursion to Pigeon Valley. Continue to the Goreme Open-Air Museum and Uchisar for a panoramic view of the landscape. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 5
Hot Air Balloon Tour / South Cappadocia Tour / Cappadocia
On Day 5, you can take an optional Hot Air Balloon Tour for a unique view of Cappadocia. After the tour, return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, proceed to Rose Valley to see the first inhabited rock-cut houses, and visit the Church of St. John the Baptist for a panoramic view of the village. After lunch, visit Kaymakli Underground City, the widest underground city in Cappadocia, and Ortahisar with its Castle of Ortahisar. Overnight stay in Göreme.
Day 6
Flight from Cappadocia to Antalya
Transfer from Cappadocia hotel to the airport, and fly to Antalya. Half-day tour of Antalya, including historical sites such as Hadrianus Gate, Clock Tower, Palm Street, Old Town, and Republican Square. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7
Side / Perge / Aspendos / Antalya
We embark on our Southern Turkey tour, following the Mediterranean coastline. We visit Perge, the ancient city once the capital of Pamphylia, and Aspendos, with its best-preserved theater seating about 7,000 people. After lunch, we visit the Manavgat Waterfalls before heading to Side, exploring its magnificent theater. We end the day with a transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Antalya.
Day 8
Demre / Myra / Kekova / Kas
We continue our Turkey travel along the Turquoise Coast to Demre, where we visit the tomb of Saint Nicholas and the Myra ruins to view the Lycian rock-cut tombs. After lunch, we proceed to Kekova, an island with the partly sunken ruins of an ancient town, taking a glass-bottom boat tour. We also visit Kalekoy, an old fishing village. We end the day with a drive along the coast to Kas for an overnight stay.
Day 9
Kas
This is a free day for leisure or a self-guided tour of the town. Kas is a quaint little town with a beautiful coastline, beaches, and pleasant cafes and bars, also great for diving. We have an overnight stay in Kas.
Day 10
Kas / Fethiye
After checking out of the hotel, visitors have a free day to either spend the day in Kas or visit the resort city of Fethiye located only one hour away. We have a transfer and an overnight stay in Fethiye.
Day 11
Fethiye
This is a free day for leisure, including an optional excursion for a full-day private boat ride around the gorgeous blue waters of Fethiye. The cruise departs from Oludeniz Beach or the 'Blue Lagoon' and includes swimming in the Blue Cave, a trip to Butterfly Valley, and exploring historical ruins on the island of St. Nicholas. The day ends with a cruise back to Oludeniz Beach and a transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Fethiye.
Day 12
Dalyan and Iztuzu Tour / Drive to Kusadasi
We drive to Dalyan, taking a local boat through the lake to Iztuzu Beach or 'Turtle Beach,' one of the last breeding grounds of the endangered loggerhead sea turtles. We also explore the ancient site of Lycia and the ancient city of Caunos, with its impressive rock-cut tombs. Later, we enjoy the world-famous mud baths before driving to Kusadasi.
Day 13
Explore the Ancient City of Ephesus
Today we visit the Ancient City of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world, visiting the Ephesus Open Air Museum, the House of the Virgin Mary, and the remains of the Artemis Temple. End of the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 14
Drive to Pamukkale - Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour / Pamukkale
We check out the hotel and drive to Pamukkale on a scenic route, visiting the white limestone travertines and walking on the terraces where allowed. We then visit Hierapolis, including the Martyrium of St. Philip. After the tour, you will check into the SPA Hotel to enjoy the thermal pools, Turkish bath, sauna and hamam, and overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 15
Transfer to Denizli / Flight to Istanbul / Final Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and you will be transferred to Denizli Çardak Airport, for a flight to Istanbul which will connect you to your homebound flight.

The hot air balloon ride on Day 5 is offered as an optional experience at an additional cost.
Is the Fethiye boat cruise (Blue Lagoon, Butterfly Valley) included or optional?
This is offered as an optional full-day excursion on the Fethiye free day, rather than a fixed part of the core itinerary.
Does this tour include thermal/spa time in Pamukkale?
Yes, the final touring day includes a stay at a spa hotel with access to thermal pools, Turkish bath and sauna.
